Open evening shines a light on nursing

People interested in studying nursing in Telford are invited to an open evening.

The University of Wolverhampton now offers a degree in Adult Nursing at its Telford Innovation Campus in Priorslee.

The next course for the BNurs (Hons) degree starts in March 2020 and people interested can find out more at an Open Evening on Thursday, 16 January 2020.

The open evening will take place at University Centre Telford on the third floor of the Southwater Building from 4pm-6pm.

Paula Harrison, University Centre Telford Co-ordinator, said: “A benefit of the course is that students can stay local for all their placements as they are guaranteed to be in Shropshire.

“People interested in finding out more can just drop in to find out more about studying nursing, as well as all the courses offered by the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing at its Telford, Wolverhampton, Walsall and Burton campuses.”

Courses offered by the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing include Nursing: Adult, Children’s, Mental Health and Learning Disability, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy, Psychology, a range of Sports courses, Emergency Planning, Public Health, Education, Teaching and more.
