Helen Hiley, Education Officer – Higher Education at CIMSPA said: “The University of Wolverhampton came into partnership with CIMSPA late last year and since then we’ve been working together to make these unique endorsements a possibility. Students who complete these courses will meet the relevant professional standards for employment, and will also be eligible for the relevant CIMSPA membership, regardless of what pathway they choose.”

Julian Smith, Principal Lecturer and Head of Curriculum for Sport at the University of Wolverhampton, said: “Our partnership with CIMSPA is part of our exciting new sports curriculum which is launching in September 2020. The integration of employability and CIMSPA Professional Standards have been central to the development of the BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching degree and our new BA (Hons) Sport Business Management degree to ensure our students are equipped with the competencies and skills needed to meet the requirements of potential employers.”
