New online seminar series to focus on migrant communities

The issues facing people from migrant communities will be the focus of a new research project at the University of Wolverhampton.

A seminar series is being launched to provide students, academics, researchers and people in the community an opportunity to gain an understanding of some of the issues facing the wellbeing of people from migrant communities.

Video presentations will go live on a webpage from Friday, 1 February 2019 for the online seminar series, which is titled ‘migrant communities and wellbeing’.

Dr Martin Partridge, the Migrant Community and Wellbeing Research Group Lead, said: “We’re keen to encourage professionals and community members to engage with the seminars and develop a greater understanding of the topics covered. We’re also interested in working with people who have an interest in the subject so we can work together in the future.”

The online seminar series will be live here from 1 Feb and will continue each month until June.

It will be available on this link:
