Open day to welcome visitors

The University of Wolverhampton is hosting an Open Day to enable people to look around the facilities and apply to study.

The event will take place on Saturday, 19 August 2017 – allowing students who have just received their A-Level results to take a look and even apply on the day through Clearing.

The Open Day will start earlier than usual at 9am and finish at 3pm, as there is a Wolves FC match that afternoon.

The free event is open to everyone, and will take place at the Wolverhampton, Walsall and Telford Campuses.

There will be opportunities to look around the facilities, take tours of the campuses and meet prospective lecturers. Visitors can also see the student accommodation, and talk to the experts on finance and careers.

Director of External Relations, Katharine Clough, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming visitors to our Open Day on Saturday. It’s a perfect opportunity to tour our facilities, meet lecturers and we’re also able to make offers on the day, so bring along your results to help with your application. Anyone who has just received exam results and is considering their next move, or people who are looking ahead to joining us in 2018, is very welcome to come along.

“As Wolves are playing at home that day, we are starting the Open Day earlier, at 9am, and have added some information about parking and public transport on our website at:”
