Leading experts to attend University seminar
An expert from the Home Office’s Violent Crime Unit will be among the speakers at the event at the School of Health and Wellbeing on Monday, 25 January 2010.
The seminar aims to provide advice on how to write bids for research funding from the European DAPHNE III programme, which aims to prevent and combat violence against children, young people and women and to protect victims and groups at risk.
All places have now been allocated to organisations within the region, including universities, local authorities, charities and other bodies.
Senior Researcher, Dr Angela Morgan, said: “The seminar is geared to helping support the development and writing of bids in order to foster success in securing project funding support.”
The seminar at the University’s Mary Seacole Building at City Campus (PDF, 172kb, opens in new window) is a collaboration between the University of Wolverhampton, West Midlands in Europe and EU Connects.
