Double the fun at Uni open day

25/02/2008
Both Wolverhampton City campus and Walsall campus will be hosting a full range of events and activities.

Everyone is welcome to attend the open day on Saturday, 1 March 2008 between 10am to 4pm, including those interested in combining two subjects on a Joint Honours programme.

There will be an opportunity to look around the facilities, tour the campuses and meet prospective lecturers. People can also look around the student accommodation and talk to the experts about money and careers at either campus.

Katy Guest, Open Day Co-ordinator, said: “At Walsall campus people can find out about sport, music, dance, leisure and lifestyle industries, midwifery, teaching and education, and they can go to either campus to find out more about nursing. We also have a whole range of other subjects, from computing to fine art, represented at the Wolverhampton City Campus – visit our website www.wlv.ac.uk for full details of what is taught where.”

To ensure ‘fast-track’ entry on the day people can fill out a booking form online at www.wlv.ac.uk and there will also be a free shuttle bus service between the two campuses so people can be sure of finding out about the subjects they are interested in. There will also be buses to the University's Telford Campus, for people interested in studying business or engineering courses.
