Free Public Lecture - Strength and Conditioning

This session will look at strength and conditioning and the benefits runners can gain from incorporating strength and conditioning into their marathon training in order to improve performance and reduce injury risk. Attendees will gain an insight into practical training methods, exercise techniques and drills that can be integrated into their distance running training programmes.
This workshop will be delivered by University of Wolverhampton member of staff Rhys Lincoln, strength and conditioning lecturer and coach with extensive experience in endurance sports.
Rhys Lincoln is a lecturer in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Wolverhampton. Rhys has delivered S&C services to a number of team sports including Wasps Netball. He has also delivered S&C support to several elite endurance athletes and now delivers S&C coaching to athletes remotely through his Strength and Conditioning business.
