Event times and information are as follows;
Session 1: Writing, Geology and fiction 10.00am - 11.30am (age 12 and over) - Learn about creative writing, hear fascinating facts about local geology and listen to readings from a range of fictional authors and discover flash fiction.
Followed by an opportunity to ask questions and talk to authors and book signings.
Session 2: Children’s time 12.00noon - 1.15pm - Enjoy some time listening to stories, song and music from published children’s authors and find out where some of their inspiration came from. Followed by an opportunity to ask questions and find out what’s it like to be an author.
Prize presentation for the junior winners of the Stafford LitFest writing competition. Marketing, Poetry, Thrillers and Prizes.
Session 3: 1.45pm – 4.00pm - (age 16 and over) - Learn how to market your book, enjoy readings and talks from Poet Laureates, rhyming comic, crime fiction and there’s a prize presentation for the winners of the Stafford LitFest writing competition. (Closing date: Saturday 15 February 2020).
