The MA Digital and Visual Communications offers an exciting combination of theory and practice. The course attracts students from across the globe with a variety of disciplinary approaches which contribute to make a stimulating environment where experimentation and the pushing of creative boundaries are the norm. Specialist areas covered within the course include: animation; computer games design, design for advertising; film and video, graphic communication; illustration; multimedia design and photography.
Students are encouraged to develop a unique independent approach to their practice that helps to ensure their work is distinctive and stands out in the contemporary media marketplace. Our current cohort has risen to the challenge to think beyond their subject specialisms resulting in the creation of a diverse body of engaging and thought provoking work. They have gained the intellectual and creative confidence to effectively engage with the competitive global creative industries and through the investigation of a negotiated major project they have had the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge, culminating in this showcase exhibition at the Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our students for their hard work and determination displayed throughout the year, and wish them every success in their future careers.
