Latest Library Updates: we're open as usual, plenty of bookable spaces, fines waived during lockdown

The Libraries at City, Walsall and Telford campuses remain open. We have plenty of study spaces available - book them up to two weeks in advance, or on the day.

You can also continue to request books via ‘click and collect’, return items you have on loan or request to borrow a laptop.

However, if you’re self-isolating or choosing to not visit campus then you can access thousands of our resources online, get help or support from staff via ASSIST online chat, or sign up to our Skills for Learning workshops.

We’re also suspending all recalls and fines for the duration of this period of lockdown, and will waive any fines accrued from 26th October.

This means you won’t have a return date on any borrowed items until after 2nd December. This applies for all items – including laptop loans.

There’s more information on our Road to Reopening webpage, or contact us on ASSIST.

Please adhere to social distancing guidelines. Due to current restrictions, the library is not able to offer walk-in access to browse and borrow books.
