Telford Library Closed 3-6 August

From 9pm Friday 3 August – 9am Monday 6 August Telford Library will be closed for essential works.

The works come as part of the Digital Campus programme which will see the libraries utilise RFID tagging as opposed to the barcode system currently in place. This will enable a more efficient stock checking process and an improved check-in/out system using new self-serve RFID kiosks.

Throughout this period we ask that all staff and students, where possible, utilise facilities available at our other campuses (Wolverhampton and Walsall), which will remain open as usual. You can still access our new LibrarySearch system to view online resources or to reserve items for collection when Telford Library re-opens, as well as access our online chat support ‘ASSIST’.

There are further works planned to improve the facilities at our other campuses (Wolverhampton, Walsall and Burton), so please look out for more information about these in the near future and any potential disruptions that they may cause.
