Experimenting with British Library’s Digital Content and Data for your research and teachingArticle date: Thursday 28 January 2016
The University is hosting a free workshop exploring how the British Library's digitised data can be accessed and used by researchers and teachers on 4th March, 2016
A workshop organised by British Library Labs and the University of Wolverhampton’s Directorate of Academic Support and Faculty of Social Sciences as part of the British Library Labs Roadshow (2016).
This free afternoon workshop will explore the wealth of digitised content and data that the British Library make available for researchers and teachers. These ever growing collections provide new opportunities to interrogate the British Library collections in new and innovative ways.
You’ll find out how other researchers and teachers are exploiting this data through a range of projects and have an opportunity to examine some of the data and generate ideas around future use. You’ll also find out how you can access that data yourself for your own research and teaching activities.
Lunch is provided and we hope you’ll consider joining us for what we are sure will be a fascinating afternoon.
