Frequently Asked Questions

When and where can I get tickets for trips and events?

All tickets can be brought online at:

Can I bring somebody who is not a student at the University?

Yes, but please let us know when buying your ticket.

Don't have a Credit or Debit Card?

For those who don't have credit or debit cards, a few tickets will be available from MX cashiers.

Can I reserve a place and pay for it later or on the coach?

No. You can only secure a place by buying a ticket in advance of the trip.

Can I get a refund if I can’t go or change my mind later?

No. Tickets are non-refundable. You can, however, sell or give your ticket to somebody else.

What is the deadline for buying tickets?

There is no deadline but the trips are very popular and often sell out up to a week in advance.

What happens if I am late for the coach?

The coaches will leave at the times advertised. If you are late, we will leave without you and you will not be able to get a refund.

Can I bring children with me?

We would always encourage as many people as possible to take advantage of these trips but they are, ostensibly, for students and we do not think it fair to have small children on as long a coach journey as some of them are.  Therefore we do say that only children over 12 are acceptable to go.

Is there a limit to how many tickets I can purchase?

Again, we encourage as many people to go as is possible but feel it would be unfair on our students, especially the international ones, if they cannot purchase a ticket due to someone taking a large group.  Therefore we are restricting each purchase to only 2 tickets.  If you have a group of friends who would like to go but who are not students so cannot purchase the tickets themselves then please feel free toc ontact us direcctly at and we do our best to accommodate you.

Please be aware that priority will always be given to current students on our more popular trips.
