Rachel has over 10 years of experience of working in community development settings, working with partner organisations such as housing associations, police and health services to develop and deliver projects in local communities. This work led to Rachel joining the University in 2012 to give support to staff in developing project ideas and applying for funding, in particular European funding through Erasmus+. Rachel joined the International Academy in April 2015, to bring her knowledge of project development and delivery to the team, along with her extensive knowledge of different funding streams. She has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management Studies and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and Professional Practice, as well as being Prince2 qualified (Practitioner). She has around 15 years' experience of working directly in project management or advising people and organisations on how to plan, develop and deliver their projects.
