LNFE welcomes European partners for start of VET network

On 6 and 7 February 2014, LNFE were joined by 17 representatives from 11 partner organisations in 10 countries for the start of the ELVETE multilateral network.

This network, funded by the European Commission, started on 1 January 2014 and will continue until 31 December 2016. The network partners will work together to identify best practice in Vocational Education and Training (VET) where it links with employers and their requirements. It will then propose guidelines for VET institutions which wish to improve their collaboration with employers, to make sure that their students graduate with the skills they need to join the workforce.

As coordinator, the University of Wolverhampton welcomed representatives from the following partners:

Tknika, Spain
The Association for Lifelong Learning, Romania
Associazione Italiana per l’Informatica ed il Calcolo Automatico, Italy
