The aim of this course is to allow successful students to progress onto a degree programme in their chosen subject at the University of Wolverhampton. It will also improve their employment opportunities in the future. (Please seek advice from the Course Leader of your chosen degree course).
Most International Foundation Year students stay with us at the University of Wolverhampton to continue onto their chosen degree programmes. However, if you wish to progress to another university, we have a agreements with the following universities provided you meet their conditions:
- Evidence of a completed High School Certificate with satisfactory results.
- Successful completion of the Foundation Programme at the University of Wolverhampton with a minimum grade of 60/65% for most Oxford Brookes University undergraduate programmes. Oxford Brookes University may also require minimum marks on specific modules.
- Fully completed UCAS application form, with an appropriate personal statement and good academic references from tutors.
- Proof of English language proficiency. For most programmes this will be an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in Reading and Writing. Law and Psychology require IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in Reading and Writing.
We are also very pleased to have a progression agreement with Brighton university for their Undergraduate Business courses only, subject to conditions which include WEPE/IELTS 6 overall with 6 in writing and minimum 5.5 in other areas.
We are also having ongoing discussions with several other institutions.
