Set within the grounds of the Telford Innovation Campus, the Priorslee Lounge & Bar is the ideal venue for private meetings, networking events, social clubs, retirement and birthday parties.
The bar is linked to Priorslee Hall and is also only a short walk from The Hutchinson (SA) Building and the Darby (SC) Building, where the main conference rooms are. The bar provides a modern social space for evening use for conferences or can be used as “dedicated” space for daytime meetings and networking events.
We can accommodate up to 150 people in the bar area for social events and up to 50 people for private meetings. Next to the bar is a lounge area with a self-service coffee station and comfortable seating. There is an integral linking corridor through to the meeting room space in Priorslee Hall. What is the capacity of Priorslee Lounge & Bar?
The Priorslee Lounge & Bar event space can accommodate for 150 people for bar use only. Seating can be provided for 50-100 people pending on the menu choices and type of service required.
What are the costs required for using the Priorslee Lounge & Bar?
There is no hire fee for daytime use Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. For evening and Saturday use there is a minimum spend of £525.00 on food or £500.00 for bar only bookings (inc. VAT). Full prepayment will be required to confirm bookings. To make a prepayment please visit the prepayment page.
What food options will be made available to choose from?
A menu for your event can be arranged with buffet options. We do not allow outside catering on site. Please let the Manager know if you have any dietary requirements as menus can be adjusted to support those requirements. For full details please view the Priorslee Hospitality Menu (PDF).
What drinks options will be made available to choose from?
A drinks menu can be arranged with an extensive array of beers, wines and spirits offered.
What are the bar times?
Last drink orders are called at 23:30. A late license is available until 01:00 at an additional cost of £80.00.
Is there a Reception Cocktails service?
An alternative glamorous way to welcome your guests on arrival is through a receptions cocktail service. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails which will be ready on arrival. Please check availability at the time of enquiry. Prices are per glass, per serving and include VAT. Please choose a selection of 2 drinks for your event from the menu (suggest one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic for a drinks reception). Some of the drinks on this menu are not available on cash purchase at the bar, they must be pre-ordered 12-working days prior to your event date.
Can decorative features be used for events?
Early access for decorating can be arranged, please contact the Manager to confirm your needs. Whilst decorations can be used, the use of blue-tack and sellotape is restricted due to potential damage to the walls.
What entertainment options are available?
All events are allowed to use their own arranged entertainment services, for example through an MP3 player or another music system. Alternatively, a DJ can be booked by event managers themselves if they wish to.
Is there disabled access to the Priorslee Lounge & Bar?
Yes there is a ramp for wheelchair access with access to disabled toilets.
Are there any accommodation services available for overnight stays?
