Following the success of the Summer Spruce, which saw nearly 100 volunteers help clean up Wolverhampton ahead of the University’s July Open Day, we’re now gearing up for the Autumn Spruce.

Date: Friday 17 October 2025
Time: Drop in anytime between 10am and 12 noon (no need to stay the full two hours)
Meeting Point: St Peter’s Gardens, next to Wolverhampton Art Gallery
Refreshments: Light lunch at the  Chancellor’s Hall, 12pm–1pm

In July, we had an amazing turnout welcoming University staff and students, Council colleagues, MP’s, Police colleagues and a range of businesses including Barclays, McDonalds, Army Careers, Asda, McAuliffe Group and the BID Team. Together we collected over 50 bags of litter and made the city centre look extra special in time to welcome prospective new students and visitors.

The City of Wolverhampton Council is supporting the event, providing litter-picking equipment including gloves, sticks, and bag hoops.
