WLV Wallet Live Events
Earlier this Semester, the University launched WLV Wallet - an online portal packed full of resources, blogs and events to help students make the most of their time at university.

WLV Wallet has a great schedule of events coming up. These free online webinars, delivered by inspirational speakers by experts in their field, are designed to empower students to succeed and develop their study skills, wellbeing and resilience, and employability.
The events take place online, on Wednesdays, 2pm – 3.30pm. Upcoming sessions this semester include:
- Wellbeing: Be More calm confident in 10 minutes a day, with wellness expert, Beth Wood, and performance coach, Andy Baker. 2 November
- Wellbeing: The Recovering Pessimists Guide to Optimism – Live longer, live better, with leading social entrepreneur, Jo Owen. 9 November
- Wellbeing: From Surviving to Thriving, with consultant and executive coach, and academic, Christian van Nieuwerburgh PhD. 16 November
- Study Skills: Reflective learning workshop, with lecturer in Academic Skills, Julian Edwards. 23 November
- Study Skills: Workshopping Critical Thinking skills and tools, with Senior Lecturer and author, Sarah Ivory. 30 November
- Study Skills: How Charts work – understand and explain data with confidence, with Head of Visual and Data Journalism at the Financial Times, Alan Smith. 25 January
- Study Skills: Critical reading and self-critical writing. How to develop a convincing literature review, with Professor Mike Wallace and Professor Alison Wray. 1 February
