Graduate intern works on new University website

A BSc (Hons) graduate from the University of Wolverhampton has been appointed as a graduate intern within the External Relations Directorate, assisting on the new website development project.

Gurcharan Rai, who graduated with a 2:1 in Computer Science in September 2019, is helping with content and web requests on the new site, working alongside the wider Webteam, Digital and Creative Services Manager David Allen, and Granite – the company who successfully tendered for the new website.

“This is a fantastic role, and everyone I am working with is lovely,” said Gurcharan. “I am enjoying interacting with people, so I hope to develop my project management skills further in this position.

“I found out about this position through The Workplace; thank you to Kam Athwal who assisted me.”

“We wanted to involve a graduate intern in this key University project as it is great experience for them, and they will help to shape the recruitment journey of our future students,” said David Allen.

The new University website launched last week.
