Adult Nursing student Cherrelle Sutherland has launched a relief appeal to support communities in Jamaica devastated by Hurricane Melissa. Please consider donating essential items or funds to help those affected. Physical donations welcomed until Friday 28 November.

On 28 October, a category five hurricane made landfall in Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa, the most powerful storm of 2025, is the strongest to have hit Jamaica in modern history.

Across Jamaica, much of the population remains without electricity, and reports suggest that around 30,000 people are displaced.

The people of Jamaica need your help.

Please join me in supporting the people of Jamaica who have been affected by this devastating storm.
