Our Skills for Learning team can help you develop more effective approaches to your studies and assessments.

If you can’t make a drop-in session, you can request a one-to-one online appointment by email: skills@wlv.ac.uk.

What’s new at the Library?

In support of the University’s commitment to fostering an inclusive curriculum, the Library has launched an Inclusivity Collection. This student-driven initiative includes materials reflecting the lived experience of our students and authors from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and differing perspectives. Contact the Library if you’d like to suggest materials.

Don’t forget…

• The Library has a Wellbeing Collection, which includes a range of non-fiction books. A Reading Room (ground floor, Harrison Library) offers a quiet space to chill out and check in with your wellbeing.
• You can borrow laptops for short-term (up to 6 hours) and long-term loans (up to 30 days) from the Library.
• If you have questions or need help, visit Library Assist to search FAQs and Live Chat with a librarian, available 24/7.
