Staff and students are advised of a road closure in place from 6am-3pm on Thursday, June 14th, due to the unveiling of the Sir Jack Hayward Statue by Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

Molineux Street will be closed to all traffic from the junction of Deanery Row onwards towards the subway entrance.

University of Wolverhampton car parks up to Deanery Row will be open as normal, but the Wanderer Car Park will be closed during those times. Access to the Sir Jack Hayward Car Park, next to Wolverhampton City Archives, will be available only from the Whitmore Hill entrance via Waterloo Road.

Parking will be available in the Stan Cullis Car park to accommodate cars that would usually access the Wanderer Car Park.

Pedestrians will still be able to access the area concerned, but are advised that peak crowds are expected between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
