Various summer refurbishment work is taking place over the summer at the different campuses of the University of Wolverhampton.

Across all campuses annual refurbishment work has begun to centrally timetabled rooms including the following lecture theatres:

  • City: Wulfruna Building (MA030, MA133, MA202). George Wallis Building (MK045).
  • Walsall: Jerome K Jerome (WA007).
  • Telford: Darby Building (SC028). Hutchison Building (SA102).

At City Campus, as outlined previously, the Lord Swraj Paul Business School (MU) is currently closed until the end of August for improvement works ahead of the new academic year.

Improvements are progressing to the appearance of circulation routes between the Marble and Chancellor’s Hall entrances in the Wulfruna building.

Work is also underway to provide a bar, cafe and outdoor seating area in the Arena Theatre.

Remedial works are also now planned for the Wulfruna Courtyard paving which may restrict access to certain areas during those times.

And at the Science Park, construction works are progressing on the remodelling of the reception area of the Technology Centre.

Meanwhile at the Telford campus, works on the wind tunnel facility are due to start in July, 2018. Efforts are also underway to provide better social learning spaces in the Hutchison Building around the SA0 C15 corridor, SA103 and the SA020 space underneath the mezzanine.
