University of Wolverhampton Business School announces two e-clinics in August

The University of Wolverhampton Business School is committed to helping regional businesses find new ways to recover and adapt in the current crisis, through sharing our knowledge and expertise during this unprecedented time.

We have developed a package of support, the “Covid-19 Business Support Hub”, part of Executive Education (www.wlv.ac.uk/execed), resourced by a number of academic volunteers. This provides a variety of live E-Clinic events, podcasts, and blogs to help businesses; develop new ways of working and support their teams through these challenging times; steer the business through current business challenges and prepare for the future; and identify practical solutions to ensure the business thrives through demonstrating resilience and innovation.

We have two free, e-clinics coming up in August.

Tuesday 4 August, 12noon to 1pm: Building Your Brand During Covid-19 - presented by Monica Chauhan, lecturer in marketing from the University of Wolverhampton Business School.

Looking to the future and maintaining relationships with your community, staff, and customers is more important than ever. How is a good brand image going to build your business?

Think about it the other way, if you do nothing, the perception of the business is that you don’t care. Show them you do.

Tuesday 25 August, 12noon to 1pm: Managing Emotional Conversations with Staff - presented by Nicky Adams, Senior Lecturer in HR and Leadership at the University of Wolverhampton Business School.

In these different and possibly difficult times, managing staff comes with added complications and pressures. Managing these situations effectively and compassionately can be challenging and leave us feeling unsure if we have the skills to do this and still get the best outcome.

This webinar will look at how you can ensure that you have a productive and supportive conversation with colleagues.
