Student Update: National Student Survey (NSS 2020) Results
Thanks to all students who took the time to fill out the National Student Survey earlier this year. The survey was completed by undergraduate students in the final year of their programmes between February and April.
The latest National Student Survey (NSS 2020) results are now available and I’m delighted to tell you that the University remains above the sector for seven out of the ten categories you were asked about.
In particular, students told us that they are happy with their Learning Resources (87.33%) and Learning Community (79.7%), reflecting the investment we have committed to both of those areas in terms of the physical and digital learning environment.
We are particularly proud that teaching has again scored highly with 84.3% satisfaction. Student Voice remains above sector average at 74.84% nevertheless, we are actively engaging with the Students Union to continue to improve how we listen to and act upon student feedback.
Overall, 80% of students who completed the NSS were satisfied with their University experience.
As we move out of lockdown, we are working hard on we ensure a good student experience for next academic year and beyond. We are taking steps to put in place better use of technology to help and support you and to improve our communications and your access to learning resources.
Ayokunle Falana, President of the University of Wolverhampton Students' Union, said: "Each year we welcome your feedback from the NSS and the insight and opinion it brings us on the quality of your university experience.
"The Students’ Union has worked hard to maintain a positive position above the sector average this year, and we are confident that our efforts to build strong collaborative relationships across the University will continue to aid with investment to your student experience during your time with us."
