Whether you're joining us new this Semester, or are returning to continue your studies, we are thrilled to welcome you to the University.

Remember, University life is about more than completing your studies. Welcome and induction information

Enrolment Hubs - for in-person support

If you need help with any stage of enrolment or have any questions about getting started with your studies, dedicated Enrolment Hubs offer face-to-face support on campus, at the ASK@WLV Helpdesks:

  • City Campus - in the Student Life Centre, Ambika Paul Building (MD)
  • Telford Campus - Darby building (SC)
  • Walsall Campus - Performance Hub (WH) 

Enrolment Hubs are open 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, starting Monday 13 January to Friday 24 January.

Just ASK - the home of all student enquiries 

Ongoing support for your student queries is available at the ASK@WLV Helpdesks year-round. You can also help yourself to FAQs or log an online helpcall on e:Vision, or call 01902 518 518. Check out wlv.ac.uk/ASK for more information about accessing support from ASK, and to find a range of bite-size videos providing an introduction to key topics, systems and policies, such as using e:Vision, enrolment, timetabling, student check-in, and more. 

Get Set - your online induction

You may have completed the Get Set short course as part of your pre-arrival induction. If you've not yet taken the course, or would like a refresher, Get Set provides a quick introduction to university essentials - covering topics such as finding your timetable, understanding academic terminology, finding your way around campus, accessing support, and an introduction to digital and IT, wellbeing inclusion and disability, academic skills and language support, financial support, and careers and work. Things to do 

Welcome events and activities are running throughout the first few weeks of the Semester. You can find a list of activities on the Welcome Events page, which includes, quizzes, free pool, karaoke, a petting Zoo, yoga, and Refreshers' Fayres at each campus.

Refreshers' Fairs are an unmissable event for all new students. Come along to your Students' Union at each campus to grab some amazing freebies and discover everything the Students Union has to offer! Meet the SU's friendly teams, enjoy exciting events, and get ready to make this semester unforgettable. Don’t miss out – fun, support, and surprises await!
