We know that it can be hard to be festive during the holidays, but you are not alone. Student Space is here to support you 24/7 throughout the winter break.

Student Space, run by Student Minds, is here to help support students 24/7 throughout the winter break, with Winter related advice. If you need help or feel like someone else could use help, please reach out to these support services through text, phone, webchat or email.

Student Space also has Winter related advice that you can explore to help your situation. Remember, you are not alone this holiday season.

 

Specific support 

Student Space also provides support for students who might face additional challenges with mental health at university.

Training for LGBTQ+ students on safety and abuse

Free online workshops for LGBTQ+ students and their allies.

Support for students recovering from addiction

One-to-one and group support for students recovering from addiction. 

Support for Muslim students

A helpline service for young Muslims, offering support and signposting seven days a week by phone, WhatsApp, webchat and email. 

Support for Punjabi students

Online support space and workshops for Punjabi students.

Support for hearing voices

An online peer support group and forum for students who hear voices and have other sensory experiences. 

Support for students with OCD and BDD

Online sessions for students living with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) and related conditions such as body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs). 

Support for students with eating difficulties

An online support group for students with eating difficulties and disorders.
