Online dating abuse workshop for parents and guardians

A psychology research team has conducted several years of research on cyberdating abuse, which is an online form of intimate partner violence. The team is running a session to relay that research and discuss areas for future research and raise discussions around this topic.

This session is open to staff and students and is designed for parents and guardians and will be held in the Millenium City Building (MCb12) on Monday, 9 May 2022.

The 2-hour session is expected to run as follows:

  • 10 am: Welcome
  • 10.15 - 11 am: Talk by Dr Manpal Bhogal on cyberdating abuse
  • 11 am - 12 noon: Discussion and mini-focus groups

Lunch vouchers will be provided (on the day) up to the value of £6 to be used at the University of Wolverhampton Millenium City canteen (vouchers must be used by 31st May).
