Article 50/Brexit - what next?

04/04/2017

The Prime Minister triggered Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty on Wednesday 29 March 2017, which signifies the formal start of the two-year negotiation for the terms of Britain’s exit from the EU. This means that the UK is still a member of the EU for the next two years but what happens when we leave the EU is up for negotiation.

In response to this, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Geoff Layer, states that: ''As a global university and the University of Opportunity, we want to reassure you that you will always be welcome at the University of Wolverhampton."
