Q: I can’t find my personal exam timetable in e:Vision. What should I do?
A: If you can't find your timetable, please email exams@wlv.ac.uk with your student number, and we’ll help you out.
Q: I receive reasonable adjustments in exams. Who do I contact if I have concerns?
A: If you have concerns regarding your exam arrangements, please email specialexams@wlv.ac.uk for assistance.
Q: What should I do if I have an exam clash?
A: If you have exams scheduled for the same time, or three exams in one day (morning and afternoon), please download and complete the Exam Clash Form. If your exam clashes with an in-class test, time-constrained assignment, or viva, inform your Module Leader.
Once completed, submit the clash form via email to exams@wlv.ac.uk.
Q: How can I contact the exams team if I have other questions?
A: You can email exams@wlv.ac.uk for any general queries. If you need assistance on the day of the exam, call 01902 32 2494.
Q: What should I do if I can’t reach the exams team on the phone?
A: During peak exam periods, phone lines can be busy. If your query is not urgent or related to that day’s exam, we may ask you to email the exams team instead.
Q: Where can I find the provisional exam dates?
A: Provisional exam dates and date ranges are published in the Canvas module topic assessment area. These represent the expected exam schedule.
Q: When will the final exam dates be available?
A: Final exam dates, times, and durations will be updated in Canvas once the schedules are complete. You can also refer to the published module exam timetables on the university website for main exam periods.
Q: How can I access my personal exam timetable?
A: Personal exam timetables are published in e:Vision typically two weeks before the exam period starts. If you cannot find your personal timetable in e:Vision, please check the general timetable published online or contact exams@wlv.ac.uk with your student number and module code.
Q: Can the exam timetable change?
A: Yes, exam arrangements are subject to change at short notice. It is recommended to check your timetable regularly as the exam period approaches to stay updated.
