By studying this module you will develop the personal and professional skills required to design and undertake research in your chosen subject area at post graduate level.
This module will develop your knowledge of sustainability, the circular economy and Cradle to Cradle principles. You will foster an appreciation of the constraints of these principles within the demolition industry and will learn how to analyse complex projects appropriately. Furthermore, you develop an understanding of the managerial and technological problems associated with the strategic and operational delivery of sustainability, circular economy and cradle to cradle concepts.
This module will foster an appreciation of the leadership and management skills required for demolition projects. It will develop your skills in managing the technical aspects of demolition, alongside understanding the complexity and criticality of project benefits and project risks in a range of diverse environments.
This module will provide you with the knowledge to develop Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and how to apply them. You will also learn how to identify and apply appropriate techniques of demolition. In addition, the module will develop your appreciation of the complexities of project benefits and project risks in diverse environments so that you will be able to critically evaluate them.
