You will analyse and evaluate the evidence for a range of therapeutic interventions and treatment strategies related to specialist care and reflect on the impact of national policy on local service provision.
This module aims to develop your ability to determine best practice in the specialist care setting. You will critically reflect on a range of practice issues and determine how the quality of the patient (and family) experience of care in the specialist setting can be enhanced.
This module aims to enable you to demonstrate delivery of safe and competent care in a specialist setting. You will analyse and evaluate the evidence base for your practice and demonstrate its application in the specialist setting.* *You must have the support of your manager and an allocated practice mentor in order to complete the practice component of this module. Through critical reflection on your own role and practice you will examine ways in which you can improve the quality of holistic care within your own sphere.
