The Apprenticeship offers three pathways which lead to professional status as a Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor and Property Management Surveyor (dependent on the pathway chosen). On completion of the Apprenticeship, as a Chartered Surveyor you will act on behalf of clients or employers to provide professional services in the pathway area chosen. In these capacities, your roles will include (but not be limited to):
- providing professional advice and recommendations to clients relating to land, property or construction
- managing client instructions from engagement to completion
- liaising with other professionals
- negotiating contracts and prices
- analysing data relating to land, buildings or construction
- following due diligence in providing advice
- to clients
- undertaking detailed inspections of buildings, land or construction
- analysing information from inspections or visits to buildings, land and construction sites.
