We aim to provide you with the opportunities to enable you to build your career pathway as a Learning Disability Nurse.
Your work with people with learning disabilities will have a direct impact on their quality of life and life chances. You’ll offer care and support to enable people with a learning disability to achieve their aspirations to engage in citizenship in their local communities.
Placements will be undertaken with one of six NHS Trusts:
- The Royal Wolverhampton Trust
- Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust
- The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust
- Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust
- Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust
- University Hospitals Derby and Burton
They may also take place in private healthcare organisations.
