edie Live 2019

EnTRESS hosted an advice clinic at edie Live 2019, providing companies with advice and guidance to improve their resource efficiency through the implementation of circular economy principles.  Circular economy is an alternative to the make, use, dispose linear economy.  The aim was to keep resources in use for as long as possible and get the maximum benefit from them before they are regenerated into new products and materials

EnTRESS supports Black Country Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on the development and adoption of environmental technologies and resource efficient processes.  EnTRESS is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to promote sustainable economic growth.

EnTRESS engages with SMEs and large organisations to link academic research into business, driving innovation in areas such as waste management, bioremediation, biopolymers, pollution control and sustainable operations.  We understand that the environmental technologies sector is a varied and fast moving, so EnTRESS will provide the practical support to help SMEs engage with these innovations.

The team work across a variety of sectors and seek to increase business competitiveness, improve productivity and identify new market opportunities for SMEs through the adoption of environmental technologies and the reduction of waste.

EnTRESS is part of the University of Wolverhampton's Faculty of Science and Engineering.

The support that the team provide is FREE to the SMEs and the project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
