Student Ambassador Scheme

Champion your University Theatre to your fellow student body by coming one of our Student Ambassadors! Applications are now open for October 2021!

What is the Your University Theatre Student Ambassador Scheme (YUTSAS)?

YUTSAS is your opportunity to gain valuable employability experience, as well as contributing to raising awareness of the Arena Theatre to your course mates and fellow University students.

This is your opportunity to inform decision making at the Arena Theatre, ensuring that we are keeping in touch with students and that University students are having an influence on what we do!

We know you’re busy with your studies, so the best thing about YUTSAS is that is works around YOU: you own the scheme from start to finish and decide how much or how little involvement you have.

ANY student can apply: whether you’re first, second or third – a Forensic Scientist or an Acting Student – all are welcome as long as you are a student of the University of Wolverhampton.

Your responsibilities

  • Attendance of development sessions. These sessions will be at the heart of your YUTSAS experience, they will decide what you want to contribute and how.
  • Be punctual and committed. YUTSAS is an eight-month long scheme from October
  • Have a passion for the arts and theatre.

What’s in it for you?

  • Complimentary tickets to performances and workshops for you and a friend
  • CV support and employability guidance.
  • Flexibility – have as much or as little involvement as possible.
  • Have your work showcased on the Arena Theatre website to show future employers.
  • Reference from the Education and Outreach Manager for future employment.
  • Receive relevant training.
  • Development plan tailored to you with relevant development sessions.

How do I join?
