Project Xpedition

Delivered by Flexus Dance Collective & Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton

Project Xpedition is an aspirational Performance & Arts Management Programme for young ‘Creative Pioneers’ aged 11 - 16 years from Wolverhampton, the Black Country & Telford & Wrekin areas. 

Founded and managed by Flexus Dance Collective and delivered in partnership with Arena Theatre, Project Xpedition aims to empower young people with invaluable skills, qualifications, experience & insight to the Creative Industries, working with an experienced team of industry professionals.  

The aspirational programme includes: 

- Completion of a Bronze Arts Award Qualification
- Next Steps/Careers advice & guidance 
- Participation in workshops & masterclasses with Arts Management & Performing Artist professionals 
- Work collaboratively in the design, management, creation & performance of inspiring new works 
- Participate in an annual Careers Day, to discover the breadth of opportunities available in the Creative Industries 

Dates: 

- Sunday 25th January 2026: Session 1 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 15th February 2026: Session 2 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 22nd March 2026: Session 3 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 19th April 2026: Session 4 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 17th May 2026: Session 5 (10am–  4pm) 
- (May Half Term) Tuesday 26th May - Saturday 30th May 2026 Creation & Performance Week (Times TBC) 

Project Costs:

- Early-bird offer: £75 (must be paid in full in advance of project start date)
- Payment plan: £100 (4 x instalments of £25 due in January, February, March and April).
