Undergraduate Occupational Therapy Clearing Interviews

If you call our Clearing Hotline and meet the entry requirements for our Occupational Therapy degree, you will be transferred to the faculty team. They will book you into the earliest available online interview slot. 

You will receive a confirmation email with all the details, including a Microsoft Teams link for your interview. 

Interview method: Interviews will be online via Microsoft Teams for those wishing to start in 2025

Interview preparation- Important Information

Pre-interview tasks required:

  • Have a form of identification (e.g. passport, driving licence, etc.) ready to present on arrival.
  • Please ensure that you have read the content on the following webpage (not including all the links/documents) and be prepared to answer questions on it:  https://www.england.nhs.uk/integratedcare/what-is-integrated-care/  
  • Do you know enough about the course you have applied for? Research information about the course, the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), and visit our open days, come and speak to our staff and students www.wlv.ac.uk/opendays.

  • For your online clearing interview, please ensure you have a fully charged device and you have your e-mail account open on this device no later than 10 minutes before your interview time.
  • At the start of the interview, you must show a form of picture ID as proof of who the interviewer is talking to. Acceptable documents include a passport, driving license, college ID badge, etc. (please note we do not accept copies).

After attending your interview, you will be notified on whether or not you’ve passed within 3-5 working days. If you are successful, your offer will be confirmed within 14 working days.

Please note if you fail to notify us that you’re unable to attend, your application will be rejected.
