Legal studies applications

The application procedures for studying law vary according to the type of course in which you are interested.

Please note that the information below only applies to applications from the UK; international and EU students should view our international applications section or contact  for details.

LLB (Hons) full-time

Apply via UCAS.

You will need the UCAS Directory and an application form. These are available from schools, colleges, careers' offices, the University's Gateway, British Council Offices or directly from the UCAS.

Part-time courses and LLM (Masters in Law)

Follow the normal procedure for postgraduate and part-time applications.

Common Professional Examination/LLDip

You can apply direct to the University for this course following the procedure for postgraduate and part-time applications.

For international (ie non-EU) full-time undergraduate (ie LLB (Hons)) applications, use UCAS.
