ID check

Receiving your ID card

Home students studying on campus:

Before an ID card can be printed for you, you will need to ensure that you are fully enrolled. This means that all e:Vision enrolment tasks will need to be completed, including uploading a photo and carrying out an ID check. More information about the enrolment process can be found here.

September and October:

During these busy months, your card will be generated and posted to your term time contact address the next working day after completing all your enrolment tasks. Please ensure that your contact address is up to date, complete and has a UK postcode.

If you do not receive your card in the post after 5 working days, please get in touch with the Library team.

November onwards:

Once you ae fully enrolled you can collect your ID from either the Harrison Library or the Walsall Campus Library. If you are studying at the Telford campus, your ID card will be produced at City Campus, please contact the library on 01902 321333 to request that your ID card is sent over to the Hutchinson Library.

International students studying on campus:

Once you have enrolled and uploaded a photo your ID card will be produced and delivered to the Harrison Library where you can collect it. Please allow 2-3 working days after you have completed your ID Check, to ensure the card is available.

Research students:

If you have joined us as a research student you can be provided with a researcher campus ID card. Researcher cards are not posted out automatically as standard but if you contact the Library we can arrange to have your card produced.

Partner students:

You will not automatically be issued with an ID card. If you would like one, please get in touch with the institution you are studying at for advice.

WLV Online:

Student ID cards primarily provide access to campus buildings and facilities. As a student on one of our online courses, you won't automatically receive a student ID card. However, if you would like to have a university ID card and are based in the UK, please contact the Library Team. They will be more than happy to produce your card and have it posted out to you.
