Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Applicants

If you are applying for an Initial Teacher Training (ITT) course and do not currently hold a GCSE in Mathematics, English or Science then you can sit an equivalence assessment on campus to meet this entry requirement for your course. The assessments follow the AQA subject specification. Each assessment costs £35 and you must pre-book your assessment by visiting the University of Wolverhampton online store.

It is advisable to complete the test before applying (or as soon as you can afterwards) as many of our ITT Courses have limited places and these fill up quickly. If you do not currently hold a GCSE or equivalent and are made an offer you will only have a short timeframe during which to pass the on campus assessment.
