
About Nate
Born and bred in Wolverhampton, Nate is the founder of TNB Connect (a CIC created to support the Transgender and Non-binary community), a National Diversity Award winner and successful musician. He graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a first-class degree in public health after he discovered he was as passionate about his work in healthcare as he was about his music. His incredible story has been documented by ITV, the BBC and Channel 4, with Nate using his platform as a musician to inspire others and address public health issues within marginalized communities.

My message to anybody thinking about starting university is take that first step. There’s going to be anxiety and worries, because it’s an unfamiliar place – even the size of the university can be intimidating – but no matter who you are, whatever your doubts are, if you’re thinking about university, take that first step.
