Biography
Olive White is a Lecturer in Architecture in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Wolverhampton. She is engaged in teaching at undergraduate level.
Qualifications
Olive is a registered member of the Architects Registration Board, achieving her professional membership from the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland. She is a holder of a Diploma in Architecture from Dublin Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Architectural Science from Trinity College Dublin. She also holds an MSc in Urban Design from University College Dublin.
Experience in Industry
Olive brings broad cross experience both in architecture and urban design having worked on a number of commercial, housing, education, refurbishment, office and master-planning projects during her previous employment in Birmingham, Cork, Dublin and Amsterdam. Having been employed by and undertaken work for a number of public sector bodies and the private sector, she has developed an excellent understanding and sensibility for engagement with a wide range of stakeholders in both a political and commercial environment. Olive has served on the Design Review Panel at Birmingham City Council and has been a visiting tutor at Level 5 in Birmingham City University.
