Dr Nikolaos Th. Ersotelos is a lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Wolverhampton. He holds an MSc (with Distinction) degree in Media Production and Distribution from Lancaster University and a PhD degree in Computer Science from Brunel University. From 2013 to 2019, he had worked at the University of Bedfordshire as a research fellow in the CVDA (Centre for Visualisation and Data Analytics). During this period, he had participated in seven projects funded by the European Commission and the Ministry of Defence. He has also participated in the European project “Splotch” as a researcher of Portsmouth University, in the period 2011–2012, developing an open-source software tool for visualising astrophysical cosmological simulations. From 2012–2014, he was a part-time researcher in the University of Athens (Greece), specialised in the facial expression recognition research field.
