    Ken studied his BSc (Hons) Environmental Science degree at Wolverhampton and followed with a MSc in Environmental Management. After graduation Ken worked on a temporary contract for the Forestry Authority on their Woodland Grant schemes. He then worked voluntary for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and also Groundworks Black Country. Following this Ken undertook teacher training at Wolverhampton College and became a college lecturer at the college.

    Ken joined the University of Wolverhampton in 2000 and is a Demonstrator in Animal Behaviour & Wildlife Conservation.  His duties include general teaching, practicals and fieldwork and also he looks after the retention and progression all year one students in his subject area.
