    Molecular Biology with Bioinformatics

Donna graduated in 2005 with a BSC (Hons) Biological Science and went on to complete a MSc in Molecular Biology with Bioinformatics in 2006. Donna then started a position as a researcher in the Brain Tumour Research Group at the University of Wolverhampton, and has presented her work on Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptors in Glioblastomas (GBM) at a number of conferences across the UK, including the British Neuro-Oncology Society.

From 2010, Donna started working as a Teaching Associate and Personal Tutor in Biomedical Science and completed a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice in Higher Education, gaining a fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in 2014. She has a keen interest in developing learning and teaching strategies, supporting and enhancing the student’s classroom experience.
