Postgraduate Futures Forum

You will be graduating soon, so now’s the perfect time to consider your postgraduate study options.

You may simply wish to enhance your professional development by studying at Master's level in your current discipline. But are you aware that many of the PG courses - both Postgraduate and Professional - offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences are also open to students who have a first degree in an unrelated subject?

For example, did you know that:

  • with a BA Business Management Degree, you could study for a PG Law course?
  • if you have completed an Undergraduate Law course, you could progress on to a PG Management course?
  • you could add to your Undergraduate degree with a Professional Qualification i.e. Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD) or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)?

Whatever your needs, we have a wide variety of part-time and full-time Postgraduate and Professional courses to choose from in the following subject areas:

Fees and funding

As a current undergraduate student, you would be entitled to a loyalty discount of up to 20% off the cost of a Master’s programme. In addition postgraduate loans may also be available.

Student success

"I loved the fact that many of my lecturers had years of experience in the world of business, as that helped me to turn theoretical knowledge into practical outcomes in my job. In fact, some of the recommendations in my thesis were implemented globally by my employer."
