Following graduation, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with PricewaterhouseCoopers 1991-1994, in their Leeds office.

Following this I worked for in London for a number of investment banks as an equity research analyst. I was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley 1997-2002 and a Managing Director at JPMorgan 2002-2007. My main role was to write research reports for institutional investors to help them make investment decisions.

Following a near 8 year break from work, I started my new career in academia in 2014. After working as a visiting lecturer at the University of Chester’s Business School, I took up my current full time role at the University of Wolverhampton in September 2015.
