Yasmin joined the University of Wolverhampton in September 2016. Previous to that she completed her PhD alongside being a postgraduate tutor in Aberystwyth University.

She also held a role as an online tutor in criminology at the University of Essex online.

Research interests

Yasmin is particularly interested in restorative justice. Her doctoral thesis explored the implementation of restorative justice in secondary schools.

She is also keenly interested in youth justice and alternatives to more traditional punishments for young people.
